Getting started

This guide walks a new customer from sign-up to a completed forecast run.

1. Create an account

  1. Go to your AccuPredix URL (e.g. https://app.accupredix.com/register).
  2. Register with email/password, or sign in with Google / Microsoft if enabled.
  3. Verify your email when prompted.

2. Create an organization

On first login you enter onboarding:

  1. Organization name — your company or team name.
  2. Industry — selects default external indicators and benchmark context.
  3. Data region — where tenant data is stored (EU by default).

You can create additional organizations later from the org switcher (top bar → + New organization).

3. Add a workspace

A workspace holds one forecasting domain (e.g. a product line or business unit).

  1. Open Workspaces in the sidebar.
  2. Click New workspace and give it a name and key.
  3. Each workspace has its own uploads, runs, and settings.

Freemium limit

Freemium plans include one workspace. Upgrade on Billing if you need more.

4. Upload data

You need order-line history before forecasting. See the full Upload data guide.

Minimum columns: customer_id, product_id, order_date, ordered_qty.

  1. In the workspace, open Upload.
  2. Choose CSV or Excel matching the canonical template.
  3. Wait for validation and the data readiness scorecard.
  4. Fix blockers (missing columns, stale data) before running.

Alternatively, connect a data connector (Growth+) to sync orders from Shopify, QuickBooks, Xero, or an ERP — see Integrations.

5. Run a forecast

  1. When readiness is green or amber, click Run forecast.
  2. The run queues immediately (async in production; often instant in dev).
  3. Open the run from Recent runs or the workspace run list.
  4. Status moves through queuedrunningcompleted.

Monthly run quota

Each plan includes a monthly forecast-run limit. Check Usage & health (/usage, admin only) or Billing for consumption.

6. Read the dashboard

After completion:

  1. Open Dashboard for portfolio KPIs — accuracy score, demand shifts, data quality.
  2. Open the run detail page for charts, series table, exports, and overrides.
  3. Configure Notifications for email when runs finish or fail.
