Multi-echelon inventory (RM-005)

Agency workspaces can size safety stock across a hub-and-spoke distribution network instead of a single lead time.

Configure the network

1. Open Workspace → Product groups & data settings.
2. In Distribution network, review the default three tiers: central warehouse → regional DC → store.
3. Adjust lead times (in forecast months) between each echelon and parent.
4. Save changes.

View multi-echelon targets

1. Open a completed forecast run → Analysis tab.
2. Below single-echelon Safety stock, the Multi-echelon safety stock card shows:
3. Roll-up buffers per echelon across all series
4. Per-product safety stock and reorder point at each node

Buffers use cumulative lead time from the consumption point up each chain:

SS = z(service level) × demand σ × √(cumulative lead time)

Multi-echelon inventory requires the Agency plan (multi_echelon feature flag).
